Inmate claims guard opened mail

Eight inmates got involved in a class-action lawsuit after guards were opening legal mail and reading the documents. Dave Sprout, a paralegal with the Lewisburg Prison Project, said that if mail is marked as "legal mail," it should always be opened in front of the inmate but not read by the officials, confirming that the prisoners have a right to complain.
