The Northumberland County Prison was found to be in compliance with the organization's standards for health services. Lewisburg Prison Project filed a lawsuit in October 2010 alleging that conditions in the jail were unsafe, and part of the settlement was to bring in a medical company to provide and coordinate inmate services.
